Step 2: Wash the kiwi berries before you try them.
Most fruits and vegetables have a small amount of pesticide or dirt on them. Wash the kiwi berries under cold tap water to get rid of this film and anything that may harm you.
Step 3: Eat the whole berry.

Step 1: Blend 10 kiwi berries and 10 cherry tomatoes.
Cut the berries and tomatoes in half. Mix them in a blender or a food processor for a few seconds. Do not reduce the mix to a puree. Then pour the mix into a bowl.
Step 2: Add 1/4 cup of chopped coriander to the mix.
The coriander will add a slight spice to the salsa and goes perfectly with cherry tomatoes. Cut the coriander, including the stalks, and drizzle it all over the bowl.
Step 3: Sprinkle chili powder and sugar into the mix.
Use about 1 tsp of chili powder and 1 tsp of sugar. Give it a taste test and add more chili powder if you think it could be a little spicier. You can use fresh chili paste instead of chili powder. Use 1 tsp of it and blend it with the tomatoes and kiwi berries in step 1.
Step 4: Drizzle 2 US tbsp of lime juice over the bowl and serve.
Lime juice is an essential part of any salsa.

How to eat kiwi berries – Kiwi berry pastry
Step 1: Quarter flaky pastry sheets into squares and place them on a baking sheet.
Place these squares onto a non-stick baking sheet and set them to the side. If you don’t have a non-stick baking sheet, use the cooking spray to spray the bottom of the sheet before placing the pastry squares.
Step 2: Preheat the oven to 392°F while beating an egg.
Beat 1 egg in a bowl until it is thick and airy while the oven is preheating, then set the bowl to the side.
Step 3: Cut the second pastry sheet into pastry strips.
Cut the second pastry sheet into 12cm long by 2cm wide strips. Don’t cut the strips wider than 2cm since they will not keep their structure in the oven.
Step 4: Brush the pastry strips with the beaten egg and bake them.
Spread a thin layer of the beaten egg over the pastry strips and baking them. The egg will give the pastry a golden color and make it cook correctly.
Step 5: Put the pastry strips upright on each side of the squares, and bake for 15 minutes.
Place the pastry strips on their long sides on each side of the squares you cut earlier. Press the pastry squares and the strips together to make them stick together and hold up in the oven.
Bake the pastries for 15 minutes at 392°F. Keep an eye out for the pastry to rise and poke any bubbles with a fork to let out steam and allow it to cook properly.
Remove the baked pastries after 15 minutes or as soon as they become golden brown.
Step 6: Prepare custard mix and combine it with orange liqueur.
Prepare 1 cup of the custard mix according to the instructions on the box, then add it to a bowl and pour 2 US tbsp of orange liqueur over it. You can add 2 US tbsp of orange juice instead if you don’t want to consume alcohol.
Step 7: Place the custard mix on the center of each pastry, then add kiwi berries.
Let the pastries cool for a few minutes after removing them. Then carefully fill the center with the custard and orange liqueur mix.
Cut the kiwi berries in half and balance them on top of the custard. Serve the pastries warm or keep them in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
